Social Justice On The Go

Social Justice conversation and action is everywhere these days. Rockstars, moviestars and the kid sitting next to you in class is involved in helping out. This is a great thing since we all need to think outside of ourselves a little more and get involved in helping to alleviate pain & suffering of others and offer healing and hope.

Maybe you’ve been involved in standing against injustices in your community or our world. Have you engaged issues of homelessness, poverty, lack of education, HIV/AIDS, human trafficking? The list could go on.

Social justice is rooted in righting wrongs in society doing the ‘right’ thing. What is this inherent thing inside of us that wants to do right and see right done? We think it’s a reflection of the one who created us – God. In the beginning God made us in His image and told us how to live, love, exist in community and get each other’s backs.
