In this book, regular humans are blinded to monsters by Mist – a kind of fog that hides the truth. In our world there is also a kind of “mist” – where people and other influences are always trying to make you blind to the things that really matter. Because we are children of God, we should never allow ourselves to be taken in by this, but we should fight for the ones this world chooses to ignore. (see Romans 12:2)
