Hey, it’s Canada’s 41st general election coming up on May 2, 2011.
Are you going to vote? Maybe you’ve got a bunch of questions around the issue that need to be cleared up before you can answer that one. Here’s a common question that whose answer might help you out.
WHO CAN VOTE?
You may vote in this federal election if you:
- are a Canadian citizen
- will be 18 or older on election day, Monday, May 2
- are registered to vote

Like Rick said, people are dying around the world (literally) fighting for a democratic society where they can have a voice as to how their country is run. You’re privileged. You have a voice, use it.
